  DUNNING KRUGER EFFECT The Dunning Kruger effect is when people with little knowledge tend to overestimate their ability and have a very high confidence. Without the self-awareness of their lack of knowledge they tend to overrate their knowledge. Many people at this stage lack self-awareness. They simply don’t know that they don’t know . The people who have gathered a little knowledge in a small period of time tends to be very confident and vocal/public for their opinions. They tend to form strong opinions for various topics, whereas scientists, experts still feel that they are not perfect a
